statments of faith based on the word of god and the life of jesus:
1 - We uphold the truths of God that a child becomes a human child from the
instance of conception. (Psalms 139:13-16, Jeremiah 1:5, Psalms 127:3-4,
Matthew 18:14)
2 - We uphold the truths of God that marriage is between a man and a woman.
(Genesis 2:18, 21-24, Matthew 19:4-6)
3 – We uphold the truths of God that there are only (2) genders – Male and
female. (Genesis 2:18, 21-24, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NIV, Romans NASB 1:26,
1 Corinthians 6:9, Leviticus 18:22)
While we fervently stand on the word of God, we also acknowledge that it was never up to us as Christ Followers to “sort” those whom we love and don’t. As we openly acknowledge “truth” is never the problem, but how we deliver it is…as it is our responsibility to love and serve as Jesus did.

4. Humankind voluntarily fell out of relationship with God through sin. (Genesis 1:26-27 & Romans 5:12-19)
5. Only the shed blood of Jesus can redeem individuals from sin and death. (Luke 24:47 & Romans 8:16)

7. All believers are entitled to the baptism of the Holy Spirit, an experience distinct from subsequent to the new birth and promised by the Father. (Acts 1:4, 8 & Luke 24:29)
8. Speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of the Holy Spirit baptism. (Acts 2:4 & 1 Corinthians 12:4-10, 28)
9. Sanctification is a life of separation from sin, realized by identifying with Christ’s death and resurrection. ( 1 Peter 1:15-16 & Romans 12:23)
10. The church is Christ’s body, the habitation of God, and exists for a fourfold purpose. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22 & Hebrews 12:23)
11. The church is to be led by a divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry. (Ephesians 4:11, 16 & Mark 16: 15-20)
12. Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. (Isaiah 53:4-5 & James 5:14-16)
